What is XLIMIT?

XLIMIT is an accelerator program designed to support startups aiming to reach their Series A funding round. The program leverages the support structure and extensive network of funds managed by Global Brain.

The program is open to startups at the seed to pre-Series A stage that possess scalable, innovative technology, including overseas startups looking to enter the Japanese market.

We welcome companies that are seeking support in areas such as product development, investor relations, business planning, public relations, intellectual property strategy, recruitment, and building networks with corporations and venture capital firms.

A program where we tackle
challenges together and
grow together.

This is a program where we tackle challenges together and grow together — offering not only financial support, but also sessions with entrepreneurs, mentoring, and lectures by specialists with deep expertise in areas such as legal, finance, technology, product development, hiring, and PR. We also facilitate connections with potential customers and strategic partners.

Funding

In principle, all selected companies will receive an investment of 10 million yen. For details on investment terms, please refer to the Terms of Application (Japanese). We also offer strong support for future fundraising, including from Global Brain and other investors.

Mentoring

Experienced mentors will support participating teams in business hypothesis/testing, product refinement, and presentations. We also invite specialists from various fields, including investors and senior entrepreneurs, to provide advice on services/products.

Services

With the cooperation of experts at Global Brain, we provide lectures and meetings with specialists in various fields essential for future fundraising and company management, including legal, finance, tech, product growth, recruitment, PR, and intellectual property.

Network

We fully utilize the extensive network with top Japanese companies cultivated by Global Brain to introduce potential customers, partners, and investors for future fundraising. We also conduct sessions with senior entrepreneurs who have successfully raised large amounts of capital.

Demo Day

At the end of the 3-month program, we will hold a Demo Day where startups can present their results and create opportunities for fundraising and business collaboration. By inviting a wide range of domestic and international investors and top companies to the Demo Day, we maximize the creation of business opportunities by raising awareness among as many collaborators as possible.

Benefit

In addition to standard support such as mentoring and lectures, office hours where you can consult directly with Global Brain's capitalists and communication tools for XLIMIT community members to freely exchange opinions will be provided. Various preferential services for supported companies are also available.

We will support you in building
a strong foundation for business
growth, working closely with
a dedicated mentor.

In addition to providing operational funding, we offer content focused on business growth, lectures and office hours with specialists, and more. Leveraging Global Brain’s extensive experience with numerous startups, we’ll help you identify the key factors essential for accelerating your business.

STEP 01

Matching Day

You will meet with all mentors participating in XLIMIT, and we will match you with a dedicated mentor who will work closely with you throughout the program.

STEP 02

Mentoring

We provide enhanced mentoring through both external capitalists and Global Brain’s own capitalists, offering tailored advice for each selected company.

Guest Speaker Sessions

We host sessions featuring guest entrepreneurs and conversations with international VCs.

Corporate Alliances

Through networking events with Japan’s leading corporations, we explore opportunities for investment and business collaboration. We provide a platform for honest and concrete discussions that would be impossible through cold outreach.

STEP 03

Demo Day

You will pitch at a Global Brain-hosted event attended by over 500 participants, as well as at XLIMIT’s own Demo Day. Leveraging the knowledge and experience gained over the three-month program, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders.

STEP 04

Network Building

Our support doesn’t end at Demo Day—we help you continue building a robust network of potential customers, investors, and business partners. We also support post-program business strategy development.

Leading industry experts and
specialists are by your side
to support you.

You will receive advice from top industry leaders and mentors, along with information sharing, research support, and consultations from our program team. We also help you build connections with specialists and investors across various fields.
